SOLOMON'S PORCH

About Solomon's Porch

|

We exist to make space for the presence of God to transform everyday lives. At Solomon's Porch, people encounter Jesus, find belonging, grow in discipleship, and step into the purpose God has called them to. From small prayer gatherings to a growing community hungry for authentic faith, God has been building Solomon's Porch step by step. We're not interested in running programs for the sake of activity. We're here to plant something lasting: a church grounded in Scripture, shaped by the Spirit, and knit together like family.

Vision &  Mission

Our Vision

Solomon’s Porch is a community shaped by the presence of God, where people find healing,  grow in honest relationships, and are sent to walk with others through the real, messy parts of  life.  We believe the Gospel restores every part of a person’s life: mind, body, spirit, and relationships.   That looks like:

Our  Mission

We exist to make room for people to encounter the presence of God and experience the restoration and transformation only He

can bring. This isn’t about building a big room. It’s about building people—disciples who walk closely with God, live on mission,

and bring the love of Jesus to their neighbors and community.

Cultivating Community in Parker, Colorado

Solomon’s Porch began with a simple, unmistakable conviction: create a house for God’s

presence in Parker. That conviction grew steadily through prayer, confirmed by Scripture, and

nurtured in the hearts of our pastors long before the name ever existed.

From small prayer gatherings to a growing community hungry for authentic faith, God has been

building Solomon’s Porch step by step. We’re not interested in running programs for the sake of

activity. We’re here to plant something lasting: a church grounded in Scripture, shaped by the

Spirit, and knit together like family.

We believe Parker is ripe for renewal, and we gather with expectation that Jesus is doing more

than building a church—He’s transforming lives.

Frequently Asked Questions

    Jesus is for Everyone

We believe that the heart of Jesus was to not be exclusive. Jesus shows us time and time again in scripture that He came for everyone- not just the Jewish people. The heart of Solomon’s Porch is the same- we exist for the believe, the non believer, and the in-between. Wherever you are in your walk of faith, you are welcomed here.(Matt 8:5-13; John 10:16: John 12:32)

    His presence over everything

We believe that Jesus’ presence should be the ultimate priority. Our heart is to always make room for His presence to guide EVERYTHING we do at Solomon’s Porch. (Exodus 33:12-23; Luke 10:38-42)

    Revival begins in the famiy

We believe the family unit is the most powerful mode of the gospel today. Your life speaks louder than your words and when a family unit lives a holy life for all to see, people take notice. Parents have the holy responsibility of discipling their children as well as children having the holy responsibility of obeying their parents. (Acts 16:25-34; Matt 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:21-33)

    Scripture is our guide

At Solomon’s Porch, we teach the Bible. No motivational speeches to make you feel good here. We believe the Bible is the holy word of God that was written as instructions for how to live and grow. (2 Tim 3:16-17; Psalm 119:105; Joshua 1:8)

    Growing together

This isn’t a stage, it’s a family. We value the steady, sometimes awkward, always-beautiful work of God shaping a life far more than pretending we have it all together. You don’t have to perform here. You get to grow here. Because real growth doesn’t happen in isolation, we practice honest accountability — confessing our sins and praying for one another as Scripture calls us to in James 5:16. We believe transformation happens when we invite others to challenge us, encourage us, and walk with us.

We live missionally to make disciples

We believe that the church was not meant to stay put in one place, but to go OUT! The church was called to be the hands and feet of Christ to love our neighbors well as Christ loves us. We can’t make disciples if we don’t go places to find them. (Matt 28:16-20)

    Serving

We exist to serve, not to be served. Following Jesus’ example, we meet people where they are with humility, compassion, and a willingness to give our lives away for others. At Solomon’s Porch, serving isn’t optional—it’s who we are. Every person is called to play a part and make a difference. (Matt. 20:28; Ephesians 4:11-16; 1 Cor 12:27)

What We Believe

We are committed to the authority of Scripture, the work of the Holy Spirit,

salvation through Jesus Christ, and building a community shaped by His love.

Frequently Asked Questions

    Salvation

        Our Only Hope

We believe our only hope for redemption is found in Jesus — in His life, His death, and His resurrection. It’s through His shed blood that sin is forgiven and broken people are made new.
Salvation isn’t earned. It’s received. We turn from our sin, place our faith in Jesus, and by God’s grace we are forgiven, made new by the Holy Spirit, and welcomed into God’s family with the promise of eternal life. (Romans 10:13-14, Ephesians 2:8-9, Titus 3:4-7)

Frequently Asked Questions

    The Scriptures

The Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct. (2 Tim 3:16-17)

Frequently Asked Questions

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe the baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift for every believer. Jesus promised it, the early Church experienced it, and we still expect it today.

Through the Holy Spirit, God empowers us to live boldly, love deeply, and serve faithfully. He fills us with power for witness, strengthens us for everyday life, and equips us with spiritual gifts to build up the Church and reach the world.

We don’t chase hype — we pursue His presence. (Luke 24:49, 1 Corinthians 12:1-31)

With the baptism in the Holy Spirit come such experiences as:

-an overflowing fullness of the Spirit (John 7:37-39)

-a deepened reverence for God (Hebrews 12:28)

-an intensified consecration to God and dedication to His work (Acts 2:42)

-and a more active love for Christ, for His Word and for the lost (Mark 16:20

Frequently Asked Questions

    Water Baptism + Communion

We believe baptism in water is a beautiful next step for anyone who has repented of sin and placed their faith in Jesus. It’s something Jesus commanded — and something we gladly obey.

Baptism doesn’t save us, but it boldly declares what God has already done. Going under the water symbolizes dying with Christ; coming up celebrates new life in Him. It’s a public “yes” to the transforming work of Jesus. (Matt 28:19)

We believe the Lord’s Supper is a sacred and joyful reminder of what Jesus has done for us. When we take the bread and the cup, we remember His suffering and His sacrifice — the price He paid to bring us back to God.

Communion is more than a ritual. It’s a moment to reflect, to give thanks, and to proclaim our hope in Him. As Scripture says in First Epistle to the Corinthians 11:26, whenever we eat the bread and drink the cup, we proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes again.

We look back in gratitude. We look forward in hope. And we gather as family around the table in between.

Frequently Asked Questions

    Divine Healing

We believe healing is part of the good news of Jesus. Because of His finished work on the cross, we can pray with confidence for God to heal — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

We believe God still heals today. We ask boldly. We trust fully. And we place our hope in the One who restores what is broken. (Isaiah 53:4-5)

Frequently Asked Questions

    The Mission of the Church

A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has been provided by our Lord for the fourfold purpose of leading the Church in:

        Evangelism (Mark 16:15-20)

        Worship (John 4:23-24)

Building a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son (Ephesians 4:11-16)

Meeting human need with ministries of love and compassion (Psalm 112:9, Galatians 6:10)
